Mexico offers visitors, vacationers and residents an extensive network of transport systems which make getting around Mexico efficient and affordable. Travelling in Mexico is most practical by bus, car, or air. Passenger transport by train is almost nonexistent.

 

-By plane

Due to the huge distances between cities, the most efficient way of getting around Mexico is often by plane. Mexico is well served by dozens of airports. Important cities in major tourist locations and industrial centers have large, modern, airports, many of which offer international connections, and there are also many smaller airports.

 

-By bus

Bus travel in Mexico can be efficient and economical. And it is a relatively cheap and comfortable way to get around the country. Different bus lines serve different geographical areas and offer varying levels of service.

 

-By taxi

If you do not want to drive in Mexico, this is a comfortable and suitable option. Taxis are the preferred way to get around almost all of Mexico's resort areas, and around Mexico City. Fares for short trips within towns are generally preset by zone, and are quite reasonable.
